Somewhere under one universe, in a galaxy of many worlds, there arose a clan that became known as the Merchants of Death. Much of this clan's history is shrouded in mystery. What little we know of them is explained vicariously through their strength, endurance, and skills. In June 2007, three individuals (You, TheOne, and Corvair) established the clan as a map-modding racing clan. Those map "mods" became the foundation for the unique clan crest - ²MoD². The clan struggled for survival until the arrival of a hero. Yahuu quickly became that hero who furthered the continuation of the clan, as he established the clan’s first halo server. Later, two of the clan's most dedicated members, Bear and Dingy, advanced the development of the clan through their commitment and steadfastness. They were instrumental in keeping the clan from falling prey to non-participation. Yes, there were many that shed blood, sweat, and tears who boosted the clan to its higher charge. Individuals such as Buster, a man born of character and wisdom, who literally propelled the clan's crest to the Cosmo sphere attached to a rocket. Never had the clan reached such heights. Ultimately, under the vigilant leadership of Wrath, continuity and structure was introduced that fortified the clan and fashioned it into the entity it is today. A Tribunal, along with underlying ranks, now rules the clan. Legend has it, that this clan, even though small in numbers, is mightier and more diverse than others. Notwithstanding, they are a clan that has been known to make mistakes. However, rather than lie down and become victim to those mistakes, they acknowledge them and find ways to eliminate them. That unique ability to correct their mistakes has created a distinct advantage to defeat a seemingly larger, stronger, and faster enemy. The Merchants of Death do not defeat their enemy out of hatred or malice. They defeat their enemy because it is their duty and purpose. They do not glorify their actions, but merely do what they have to do. They win.
